Green Is the New Punk is a quiet ecological rebellion unfolding in the city — a constellation of small gestures, seeds, sounds, and poetic interventions inviting people to slow down, listen, and reconnect with the living world.
Emerging in Metz, this project weaves ecology, creativity, and gentle activism into tiny moments of presence scattered through urban life. With time, it will hopefully pollinate into other cities, villages, and unexpected places — carried by curiosity, kindness, and the simple desire to care for the Earth and all who inhabit it.
You may soon find traces of it drifting through the city: a message, a seed, a soundscape, a whisper of green hope. This is a movement where care becomes subversive, softness becomes strength, and small acts root deeply.
“We are the Earth. When we see her as something outside of us, we lose ourselves. When we breathe with awareness, we breathe with the lungs of the Earth. When we walk with awareness, our steps become the steps of all our ancestors. To take care of the Earth is to take care of ourselves. This is the real revolution.”
